Range & Status
Archaeophyte. Eurosiberian Boreo-temperate species. In Britain found mostly north of a line between the Rivers Thames and Severn, and apparently declining in southern parts. Also in northern parts of Ireland.
Regional Distribution
Always rare in Cornwall. Since 2000 it has been found in only one set-aside, formerly
cultivated, field near Callington (SX37), a few kilometres away from previous 1980s
records.
Habitat & Ecology
Found in cultivated fields.
Threats
Herbicide use where populations may occur.
Conservation
Not protected.
