Syn. Grubea clavata . Recorded from south-west Britain including the east shore of the mouth of Tamar estuary. Recorded from the Isles of Scilly and the Fal estuary. A benthic species, found in the lower eulittoral and shallow sublittoral; a tiny species of 2-3mm found in Laminaria holdfasts and among smaller algal fronds.
