Puccinellia rupestris - Stiff Saltmarsh-grass



Range & Status

Native. Oceanic Southern-temperate grass. Scattered around the coast of southern Britain from the Wash to South Wales, with a few sites in northern England and one inland outlier in Cheshire.

Regional Distribution

It occurs at Millbrook (SX45) and at several sites in the River Fal catchment (SW83 and SW84). It probably still occurs near Egloshayle (SX07).

Habitat & Ecology

Grows on path edges, tidal pool margins and a car park above but close to the tidal limit.

Threats

None apparent.

Conservation

Not known.
