Sagartiogeton laceratus

Range & Status

This species is found either buried in mud and sand or attached to shells. Most records have come from sheltered locations such as sea lochs and harbours in Ireland and western Scotland. However, it has also been recorded much further south and in much more exposed areas such as Lundy and the Isles of Scilly.
