Range & Status
Scarce in the British Isles. Nearly always found on sloping rock surfaces sometimes in silty conditions and in the presence of the soft corals Eunicella verrucosa and Alcyonium glomeratum . Elsewhere it is known from Ireland, west Scotland, Lundy and the Channel Islands south to the Mediterranean.
