Range & Status

Very locally scattered throughout Britain.

Regional Distribution

Recorded (undated) from east Cornwall.

Habitat & Ecology

A riverbank species, in decaying vegetation.

Threats

Canalisation of rivers and streams for ill-advised land drainage schemes; too regular clearance of bankside vegetation.

Conservation

Protection of natural water courses from damaging developments.
