Lecanora handelii - a lichen



Range & Status

Found on metal-rich siliceous rocks, particularly spoil heaps from copper mining activity. This metallophyte has been recorded from Crow' s Nest SSSI in East Cornwall and more recently from spoil heaps at Buller and United Downs in west Cornwall.
