Range & Status
Found under stones in rock pools in the intertidal zone and also known from coralline grounds in the sublittoral zone. This species has been recorded in Britain from south and north Devon, south-west Scotland, and the south coast of Cornwall, the Channel Islands and southwards to the Mediterranean.
