Habitat & Distribution

A benthic sublittoral species usually found on hard bottoms in 10m to over 100m depth. It is recorded from the eastern English Channel, south Devon, Dorset and on the west coast from south-west Wales north to the Isle of Man. It is decidedly scarce in Cornish waters with very few recent records.
