Range & Status
In Britain only recorded from north Wales and west Cornwall, except for a single record from Kent where it may not be resident (Emmet, 1996).
Recorded from west Cornwall at Poldhu Cove, Cadgwith, Kennack Sands, Mullion and Coverack.
Habitat & Ecology
The larvae feed on Wild Thyme Thymus polytrichus . The adult flies in July.
