Schmitzia neopolitana



Range & Status

A small, gelatinous alga with cylindrical fronds. Known only from the subtidal, on small stones and boulders from between 4-20m depth, in strong current-affected areas in south-western and western Britain, Cornwall, Pembrokeshire, north Wales and north-east Ireland.
