Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Cakile maritima - Sea Rocket

Sea Rocket is still frequent on many beaches, and good populations may be seen at Godrevy flats (SW54V, 1997, C.N.French), Gunwalloe Church Cove (SW62Q, 1990, M.Tempest), Fistral beach, Newquay (SW76V, 1995, H.M.Meredith), on Par beach (SX05R and SX05W, 1991, R.J.Murphy), Polhawn Cove (SX44J, 1997, M.Atkinson), and Widemouth (SS10W, 1992, M.Atkinson).
