Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Silene vulgaris subsp. vulgaris x uniflora

i> Silene vulgaris ssp. vulgaris x S. uniflora is a rare hybrid. It was found in a roadside hedge, on the lane to Gwealavellan in 1971 (SW54W, R.J.Murphy) then again in 1994 near Godrevy (SW54W, D.T.Holyoak). It has also been seen at Trevone Head before 1980 (SW87, A.Burns).
