Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Cyperus eragrostis - Pale Galingale

Pale Galingale is naturalised in pavements and gutters along a few roads in Penzance (SW42U, 1993, D.T.Holyoak & SW43Q, 1992, R.J.Murphy) and in Gulval (SW43Q, 1993, C.N.French). It has also been found at the top of the cliff at Prah Sands (SW52Y, 1996, C.N.French), at Leedstown (SW63C, 1998, C.N.French) and Par beach (SX05W, 1998, I.J.Bennallick).
