Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Anthemis arvensis - Corn Chamomile

Corn Chamomile has always been rare in Cornwall and is becoming rarer. Recent records include Wilsey Down (SX18Z, 1993, T.J.Dingle), waste ground by a supermarket near Wadebridge (SW97R, 1997, I.J.Bennallick), Killiow Country Park (SW84A, 1986, S.Johns) and at the edge of tracks and in a field at Gare Farm, Ruan Lanihorne (SW84W, 1988, R.J.Murphy). There are also a few unconfirmed records from the Isles of Scilly.
