Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Juncus bulbosus subsp. kochii

i> Juncus bulbosus ssp. kochii is not considered as being reliably distinct according to Stace (1997). Records have been made using two characters, the presence of six stamens and a sharply trigonous shape to the upper part of the capsule. Recent finds include near Kestle Mill (SW85P, 1996, H.M.Meredith), wet tracks over china clay moorland south of Carthew (SX05C, 1990, R.J.Murphy) and Grimscott (SS20T, 1994, M.Atkinson).
